TFM FOR TRUCKING

Task Force Movement: Life Cycle Pathways for Veterans and Military to Trucking aka “TFM for Trucking” is in support of the White House Trucking Action Plan to Strengthen America’s Trucking Workforce

Task Force Movement for Trucking was developed in response to the Biden-Harris Trucking Plan due to the critical nature of the supply chain crisis and the trucking industry’s need to successfully engage with transitioning service members and veterans and military spouses across the country. Honorable Patrick J. Murphy has served as Chairman of Task Force Movement since its launch at the White House with President Biden and Secretary Buttigieg on April 4, 2022.

Task Force Movement for Trucking is now housing specific break-out sessions with Industry Stakeholders inclusive to Employers, Trucking Associations and Labor Union, VSO’s, Academia and Vocational Institutions and Government Agencies inclusive to Military Services. The goal and objective of TFM is to house convenings for the Industry Stakeholders and identify mainstream information/discovery from the stakeholders that are directly impacted by the supply chain crisis and to find long- and short-term solutions to remedy. TFM will be submitting a report back to the Administration upon completion of the convenings that will be inclusive to the potential long- and short-term remedies and recommendations for operationalized solutions based on discovery of the convenings.
