Task Force Movement: Cybersecurity is in support of the White House Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity and the US Department of Labor, Commerce Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Sprint

Task Force Movement for Cybersecurity is a Task Force Movement Initiative developed in response to the White House Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity and the US Department of Labor, Commerce Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Sprint and the cybersecurity industry’s need to successfully engage with transitioning service members and veterans and military spouses across the country. Honorable Patrick J. Murphy has served as Chairman of Task Force Movement since its launch at the White House with President Biden and Secretary Buttigieg on April 4, 2022.

Task Force Movement for Cybersecurity is now housing specific break-out sessions with Industry Stakeholders inclusive to Employers, Associations and Labor Union, VSO’s, Academia and Vocational Institutions and Government Agencies inclusive to Military Services. The goal and objective of TFM is to house convenings for the Industry Stakeholders and identify mainstream information/discovery from the stakeholders that are directly impacted by the supply chain crisis and to find long- and short-term solutions to remedy. TFM will be submitting a report back to the Administration upon completion of the convenings that will be inclusive to the potential long- and short-term remedies and recommendations for operationalized solutions based on discovery of the convenings.
